Welcome to my profile

Everyone claims that they're horrible with profile texts, so I shall do the same. If you don't know me, I'm jsheppard, as my username states. I'm very-much addicted to Nonoba. This is probably a bad thing. Oh well. I'm generally easy to get along with; however, there have been cases where people have endured a different side of me. I ensure you that I mean you no harm. Really, I don't. You've probably just severely damaged my pride in some internal way, and I felt the need to retort. Anywhoo. Heh, I use that word a lot. I generally "hang out" in basecamp chatroom. I don't know whyto be honest. It would seem that the library would better suit me on certain occasions, but whatever. As you might have noticed, I have the avatar of the green giant from Green Giant® vegetables. I feel that traits of the 'jolly green giant,' as I like to call it, represent me quite well. You may beg to differ, but that doesn't matter at the moment. This is my profile text. I guess this is the first time I've offered up any direct insight into myself via the profile text option. If you're not enjoying this, then I suggest that you stop reading (probably should have mentioned this near the top). Also, for your information, my spelling 'sucks' at some points. My poor spelling has been attributed to me being 'American' (from the U.S.A). I'm not sure if there is documented research behind this. If there is, I still don't accept that as an excuse for my horrible spelling. I was selected to participate in a Spelling Bee in elementary school, and I was out in the first round. I believe it wasthe word "straight." I can remember receiving harassment from my mother (who was present at the Bee) for misspelling the word. From that point on, I didn't give a 'rat's ass' to spelling. Meh, I've over done that topic.(This profile text probably needs to be organized in paragraphs.) I'm a college student studying accounting. I'm intending to graduate with a Bachelor's and Master's in accounting, god willing. Oh dear goodness! Did I just hint to you I'm religious? Yes, I'm sort of religious, due to my upbringing. Christian to be more specific. (Again, others relate that to my 'Americanism) Look, I won't insult your beliefs if you don't insult mine. Fair enough? Anywhoo. Oh, by the way, today I just learned that most of my beliefs align with the Libertarian party in the U.S.A. Fascinating. Are you falling asleep yet? If so, then this profile text is accomplishing my secondary goals. I enjoy biking when I can get around to it. I especially enjoy biking hills. They are a lot more interesting than flat surfaces. Ugh. It's cold at the moment. Biking will have to wait.Socially, I don't really talk much. I'm more like a sponge that just absorbs conversations. Sometimes I'll provide my own real opinions when I feel like it. Music. I enjoy different kinds of music. I don't think I can reject any particular kind of music genre. Each genre has something different to offer. I do listen to more rock, metal, and alternative rock than any other genre. My final thought on music is that it's awesome. Let me see. I love snow! It's probably the best form of precipitation out there. Hail comes in as a close second. Winter is an awesome season, because it's all gloomy. I love it! I enjoy talking long walks in the winter with the snow and cold air whipping at my face. Such exhilaration. Spring and autumn are okay seasons. Summer is meh. It always gets too hot for my liking. Reading books is quite enjoyable. I've read some. I'm really into (but not limited to) books by Robert Ludlum, Michael Crichton, and Dan Brown. I think I read all the books by Robert Ludlum. He wrote quite a few. I don't really have time now-a-days for casual reading. Now, I read pretty much all the time for college. Sometimes I'll be able to squeeze in a short novel. I enjoy traveling, especially to foreign countries. I've been to Poland, Canada, and Mexico (in that order). I plan on making a trip to Germany later in life. I'm thinking about visiting Canada again because I didn't really see much. Pretty much all I  visited was the Niagra Falls. Yes, I'm tall. By most recent measurements, I'm 6'5" tall. Yeah, it's tall. Get used to it. You're short. Get used to it. I like a simple life. When too much stuff starts happening, I start to get lock-jaw (in my jaw, naturally). I've met some really interesting people on Nonoba. Maybe you're one of them? Yes? My dictionary and pet rock give greetings, and now I bid you farewell. Adios. Adieu. Lebt wohl! お別れ

Also, who got my 1000th comment? O.o

I do believe that our women's team has inspired the men's team to win. They HAVE to win now - they know their MANLINESS is on the line now.

It's MORE than just US vs Canada now - this is MEN vs WOMEN

LMAO.

Idk what I'm talking about. :D
